When I was little, we had family dinner around these pair of silver candle handleholders with a hurricane class and a silver snuffer attached (what can I say, we’re WASPs). As a young gay boy, I was so in love with them I would always ask to be the one to put out the candles, just so I could lay my hands on those dainty silver snuffers. My parents downsized recently, so naturally I tried to get my hands on them. My mom said, “Nice try. You can have them when I’m dead.” So while I (patiently) wait that one out, I’ve made it my mission to collect vintage-inspired candleholders that capture the same timeless charm and understated elegance of my childhood. Gorgeous in its simplicity, this candleholder features A classic silverplate finish with refined detailing, an attached snuffer for that old-world formality, and a removable drip tray that unscrews for easy polishing and cleaning. Whether styled on a dining table, sideboard, or bedside table, this elegant silver chamberstick adds warmth, heritage charm, and a touch of polished sophistication to any space. Timeless. Functional. Just a little dramatic…in the best way.
